Breast Lift / Enlargement / Reduction

Enhance, Restore, or Redefine Your Silhouette

These operations are performed to change the shape of the breast. It can be done in the form of enlargement (with implants), lifting (removal of excess skin) or reduction (tissue removal). These operations can be performed to provide both aesthetic appearance and functional comfort. The recovery process is more comfortable compared to other operations. The duration of the surgery varies between 2-4 hours. The location and shape of the scars vary depending on the type of procedure.

These procedures reshape the breast for aesthetic or functional improvement. Surgery types include:

• Breast Augmentation: Increases volume using silicone or saline implants
• Breast Lift (Mastopexy): Lifts sagging breasts by removing excess skin
• Breast Reduction: Reduces volume and weight for improved comfort

Breast augmentation is a surgery performed to increase the size of the breasts. Silicone or saline (salt water) implants are usually used in this procedure. The implants are placed through incisions under the breast, in the armpit or around the nipple. Augmentation is recommended for women
who are uncomfortable with small breasts or who have lost volume after childbirth.

Breast reduction is a surgery performed for individuals who experience physical discomfort due to excessively large and heavy breasts. Large breasts can cause pain in the back, neck and shoulders. With the reduction procedure, breast tissue is reduced, excess skin and fat are removed and a breastless appearance is achieved.

• Women with volume loss after breastfeeding
• Those with discomfort due to large breasts
• Patients desiring more proportionate or youthful shape

• Individuals with uncontrolled medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, heart disease).
• Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• People with unrealistic expectations or body image disorders.
• Individuals with poor skin elasticity or severe obesity.
• Smokers who are unwilling to quit before and after surgery.

• Periareolar / Lollipop / Inverted-T Incisions based on the degree of correction
• Implant placement via inframammary, areolar, or axillary incisions

• 1 night in hospital
• Special bra for 3–4 weeks
• Light activity after 1 week
• Sports/exercise: 4–6 weeks

Augmentation (with implants) usually does not. However, reduction or lifting procedures may interfere with the breast tissue and therefore may. It is important to inform your surgeon about your desire to breastfeed.
As with any surgical intervention, a scar may remain, but in most cases it is hidden around the nipple or in the lower crease area. The visibility of the scars decreases over time.
FDA-approved implants are safe. The risk of bursting is very low and their average lifespan is between 10-15 years.
Modern implants are quite safe. They do not burst unless there is a serious condition such as trauma.
Although rare, there may be temporary loss of sensation. It usually returns within a few months.
Mostly yes. However, in some cases, symmetry corrections or revisions may be required.
Silicone implants usually feel natural, but implants may be more noticeable in women with very tight skin. The feeling of the implant varies from person to person.
Light activities can be done within 2-3 weeks, but heavy exercises and extreme physical activities may require a wait of 6-8 weeks.
